Truck slams into Denny's restaurant in Fremont, 1 injured

FREMONT, Calif. -- A pickup truck crashed into a Denny's restaurant at Mowry and Farwell.

It happened just after 10 a.m. on Friday.

Investigators say the white truck appears to have backed up into the front window, ending up near the reception desk.

Fremont firefighters say one Denny's employee has been taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
