OAKLAND, Calif. -- Firefighters are responding to a structure fire in East Oakland Friday, a dispatcher said.

The incident was reported at 9:35 p.m. in the 8200 block of San Leandro Street.

The building has been described by personnel on the scene as a single-story commercial structure.
