HOUSTON -- The rumors are true: Lady Gaga will bring her talents to the big stage in Houston.

Lady Gaga announced on her Twitter account that she will headline the Super Bowl LI halftime show at NRG Stadium.
Gaga sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl this year in Santa Clara, California. Beyonce, Bruno Mars and Coldplay headlined the halftime show.
She will release a new album, "Joanne," on Oct. 21. The Grammy winner's hits include "Poker Face," ''Bad Romance," ''Born This Way" and "Applause."
Super Bowl LI is set for February 5, 2017.
