San Francisco streets reopen after suspicious package deemed safe

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Streets in downtown San Francisco are back open after a suspicious package was discovered to be a gym bag.



O'Farrell between Powell and Market was closed around 12:45 p.m. as police investigated. And a shelter-in-place order was later issued for the immediate area of Market and O'Farrell streets.



Police say O'Farrell Street reopened around 1:40 p.m.
