Police investigate death of child at Napa day care center

NAPA, Calif. (KGO) -- Napa police are investigating the death of an 8-month-old boy at a day care center Wednesday.

The Napa police and fire departments and an ambulance responded around 3 p.m. to a report of an unresponsive and unconscious infant at the licensed family day care home in the 3700 block of Oxford Street, police said.

The infant was pronounced dead at the scene and there were no obvious signs of trauma, according to police.
