Green traveled to New York with his team on Wednesday and practiced, but flew back to the Bay Area to be with his girlfriend, Jessica Hardy, who gave birth to their son, Draymond Jamal Green at 3:55 a.m. Thursday. He reunited with the team in Detroit early Friday morning.

"Draymond Jamal Green was welcomed into the world! I've never experienced such a feeling like I did when I watched his entry. Family is such an important part of my life and to welcome a kid into this world is a dream come true," Green wrote on Instagram.

Green had been ruled as questionable for the remaining two games on their three-game road trip against the Pistons and the well-anticipated matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day. Watch the game Warriors Cavs game on ABC7 at 11:30 a.m. Christmas Day!
