OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Oakland's proposed new budget is out Friday and it could bring some major changes if approved.

It includes cutting the funding to expand the shot-spotter gun detection program to help make up for a $32.5 million deficit.

In response to the deadly Ghost Ship Fire, 12 more inspectors would be hired, and over 1,100 blocks of damaged city streets would be fixed.
