MARTINEZ, Calif. (KGO) -- Fire officials say 14 people have been displaced by a two-alarm apartment fire in Martinez Tuesday morning.

It broke out at a complex on Arnold Drive near Morello Avenue just before 5:30 a.m.

Flames destroyed two units and heavily damaged seven others.

One person suffered a minor injury.

Contra Costs fire officials estimate there's $500,000 in damage.
