SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Passengers of an Alaska Airlines flight are being re-screened at Mineta San Jose International Airport on Wednesday after a threat was made.
Officials say the threat was made via text message about Alaska Flight 837, scheduled to go from San Jose to Honolulu.
TSA officials and the bomb squad responded before the flight took off. Passengers evacuated the plane while bomb sniffing dogs searched it.
They turned up nothing and authorities determined the threat was not credible.
Alaska Airlines plans to operate the flight, business as usual, as soon as everyone is safely re-screened.
