Residents in Oakland Hills deal with muddy mess after car hits fire hydrant

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Homeowners in the Oakland Hills had to deal with a muddy mess after a car hit a fire hydrant near Buckingham Boulevard and Marlborough Terrace Thursday night.

EBMUD could not shut off the water for two hours.

Officials said there is no word on the extent of the damage at this time.
