OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- An Oakland school security guard was placed on administrative leave after a second video surfaced of a student beating.

The first video of the violent confrontation shows security guard Marchell Mitchell striking Oakland High School student Francisco Martinez, who is in a wheelchair.

Now, a second video has now surfaced. It shows a previous altercation when Martinez pushes away another guard -- Shalandra Cotton.

It then shows Mitchell knocking Martinez over and kicking him.

"The second security guard is not active in attacking the student. But there is question whether there is some negligence exhibited in not aggressively intervening," Oakland Unified School District spokesperson Troy Flint said.

Mitchell has been fired as a security guard. He faces child abuse charges.

The school district has not determined if it will discipline the second security guard.
