SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A wild chase through San Francisco Saturday night ended with two cars on their sides and three suspects running from a crash.

Police say three people have been arrested after an armed robbery and a chase that went from one side of the city to another.

It ended in Portrero Hill with a crash and the suspects on the run.

"I saw somebody run here and then the cops all stopped here and they tackled him and there were police guys on the ground," witness John Kim said.

The suspects' car slammed head on into a parked red Mini Cooper. A silver Volkswagen somehow roller over at the intersection.

The woman who owns the red Mini Cooper didn't want to go on camera but described the end of the crash. "I saw the car flipped over completely and the lady was crawling out of it. I was shocked," she said.

Officers tell us the woman in the Volkswagen was not part of the chase and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Several blocks away was another crash scene. A Department of Parking and Traffic vehicle rolled over when it somehow came into contact with the getaway car.

The parking control officer inside suffered minor injuries.

A cab driver tells us the suspect car sped by him after that collision near the CalTrain station. "It's too fast, it go like really high speed. And the right wheel was locked," driver Ricardo Souza said.

He says the right wheel was damaged and smoking.

This all started in the Sunset District with an armed robbery at a local business.

"It could have been worse with a lot of people being in downtown San Francisco, which is a highly densely populated area, Halloween night, a lot of people out in the streets," SFPD Officer Albie Esparza said.

Police say they're happy this Halloween night chase ended with only minor injuries.
