Thousands of Bay Area students walked out of class on Wednesday as part of a nationwide day of action against gun violence.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Thousands of Bay Area students walked out of class on Wednesday as part of a nationwide day of action against gun violence and to honor the lives lost in the Florida high school shooting.
