4 injured, 1 dead in 2 separate Richmond shootings

RICHMOND, Calif. (KGO) -- Richmond police are investigating two separate shootings, one of them fatal, that occurred within the span of few hours Tuesday night.

The first shooting occurred at 4:45 p.m. on the 600 block of Burk Ave., according to police.

When police arrived they found a 29-year-old man with gunshot wounds, authorities said. Police performed CPR and transported him to Kaiser Richmond where he later died.

Police found a second shooting victim, a 17-year-old boy, nearby at Pullman Avenue and Carlson Boulevard. He was taken to John Muir Medical Center and is said to be in critical condition.

A second shooting was reported at 6:35 p.m. involving three more people at Pullman Avenue and Carlson Boulevard. All of the victims self-transported to Kaiser Richmond. They are expected to live.
