CUPERTINO, Calif. (KGO) -- The government has granted Apple more than two dozen patents, indicating what kind of products the company may have in the pipeline.

Among them: a phone or tablet that bends on purpose because of its flexible screen, a flexible battery, and flexible circuit boards.

Also on the books are new glasses to rival Google Glass. Apple calls it Lifestream, and sees it as a data collection system that can take notes, make recordings, and even recognize people's faces.

Apple is notoriously secret about the products it has in development. The new patents were uncovered by the blog Patently Apple.
