Campaign underway to find homes for Oakland hounds

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- A campaign is now underway in Oakland to find homes for some "Hard Luck Hounds."

Oakland Animal Services has launched a campaign to find companions for 12 dogs that have been at the shelter longer than two months.

As part of the campaign, the shelter will waive adoption fees for qualified homes.

They'll also provide a Pet Food Express sponsored makeover, which includes a new collar, leash and dog bed.
