Friends, family pay respects for ESPN anchor Stuart Scott

Friends and loved ones of Stuart Scott are paying their final respects to the late ESPN sports anchor. He died on Sunday, January 4, after a battle with cancer.

A viewing for Scott is happening Friday night at a Baptist Church in his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina.

A private funeral service is scheduled for Saturday.

Scott, 49, was diagnosed with cancer in 2007 and had fought the disease since then.

The ESPN anchor coined the phrase "boo-yah!" during his long stint with our sister network.
