The price of mailing a letter overseas, or sending a postcard may be going up.

The United States Postal Service is proposing raising the price of mailing letters to international destinations from a $1.15 to a $1.20.

Postcards would rise from 34 cents to 35 cents.

Forever stamps won't change, they'll remain 49 cents.

The Postal Service says the increases are the latest in a series of steps to achieve financial stability.
