A movie that's been hotly anticipated is facing criticism before even hitting the box office. A social media campaign has been launched against "Fifty Shades of Grey."

Anti-domestic violence advocates are pushing "50 Dollars Not 50 Shades," which asks people to donate $50 to a domestic violence shelter rather than going to see the movie.

A newly launched Facebook page for the campaign already has over 5,000 likes.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" debuts next Friday.
