CHP holding four-day application period

The Highway Patrol is hiring. Today, a four-day application period begins for anyone who wants to be a CHP officer.

The agency would especially like to increase the number of women within its ranks, currently, they make up only 3-percent of CHP officers. Anyone who passes the initial tests must complete a six-month training academy outside Sacramento.
