OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- At least two records were shattered during Sunday's Oakland Running Festival.

Elliot Daniels, 10, from Campbell unofficially beat the world record for anyone his age after finishing the 13.1 mile course in one hour, 29 minutes and 14 seconds, eclipsing the previous record by nearly two minutes.

Oakland resident Jesse Cherry, who is an Olympic hopeful, set a men's event record in two hours and 25 minutes.

And San Anselmo's Devon Yanko placed first in the women's division finishing in 2 hours and 56 minutes.
