LOS ANGELES (KGO) -- Big news for Dancing With The Stars fans.

Those of you cheering on war veteran Noah Galloway, the double amputee was planning on using a prosthetic arm for the Argentine Tango. He's been practicing around the clock with partner Sharna Burgess.

But he announced Monday morning that he has decided against using the prosthetic for the performance.

"The problem is me getting used to it. I haven't worn an arm and I'm not used to this technology. So, it's me adapting to it," said Galloway. "This isn't the week we should use it. I need more time."

You can catch "Dancing With the Stars" Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC7.
