SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A construction crew putting in a sidewalk along Folsom Street struck a buried one-inch gas line, causing a gas leak. The gas was shut off a short time later and the scene was rendered safe.

Folsom Street was closed for a while between 3rd and 5th Street in San Francisco, near Moscone Center South.

There are no reports of injuries.
