NEW DELHI (KGO) -- A stifling heat wave in India has killed more than 1,100 people in less than a week. Temperatures in parts of the country on Monday were as high as 122 degrees.

Forecasters expect high temperatures for another couple days before any relief, but another heat wave could be on the way.
