Driver injured after crashing into San Francisco cafe

SAN FRANCISCO -- A driver was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after crashing in San Francisco Sunday evening.

Police say the car exited eastbound Interstate 80 at Seventh and Bryant streets and crashed into at least two other vehicles. At least one car crashed into Caffe Roma at 885 Bryant Street, according to police and a staff member of the cafe.

Caffe Roma was closed on Sunday.

No other injuries were reported.

Police are investigating to find out what caused the crash.
