Authorities say a passenger overheard someone threaten to blow up a southbound train. The station was evacuated and closed at about 3:30 p.m. while police investigated and bomb-sniffing dogs worked the scene.
Service was also halted between the Civic Center and 24th and Mission street stations.
The station reopened around 4:20 p.m. BART officials say one person is in custody.
