INDIANAPOLIS (KGO) -- An Indiana couple having trouble selling their luxury home has decided to take another approach. Tim and Deanna Railing are giving away their custom-built log cabin to the winner of their essay contest.

The subject is "A Life Well-Lived."

The 6,000 square-foot home sits on five acres and has an indoor pool. It's located about an hour south of Indianapolis.

"So often tragedies strike and you don't know when they are going to happen and they just change your world. And we thought if we got enough support from people around the country, we could change somebody's world for the positive," Deanna said.

The contest costs $150 to enter but there must be a minimum of 4,500 entries.
