DISCOVERY BAY, Calif. (KGO) -- Authorities in Contra Costa County are trying to find the owners of two dogs found wandering on Highway 4 Monday morning.

A CHP officer rounded up the Staffordshire Terriers after he spotted them roaming the lanes near Discovery Bay.

Officer Flores even posed for a photo with the dogs. He says they're very friendly and seem to have a special bond.

He turned them over to Animal Control workers, who are now trying to locate their owners.
