LOS ANGELES -- A 21-year-old man accidentally drowned in the backyard pool of a Los Angeles home owned by actress Demi Moore, authorities said.

Los Angeles police responded to the home in the 9000 block of Oak Pass Road after receiving a 911 call around 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

Moore was not home, authorities said, and the man is not a family member. He is said to be associated with someone who had access to the pool. The man's identity was not released.

Moore's assistant had a small gathering at the home with several guests, including the man who drowned, authorities said.

Police added that there is no evidence of foul play. The investigation is ongoing.

No further information was immediately available.
