PALO ALTO, Calif. (KGO) -- Palo Alto police are warning residents not to open their door for strangers.

A teenaged girl opened the door Sunday night to a man she thought was delivering a pizza. He was not. The man pushed into the house, along with two other men in masks.

Police say the incident happened on Suzanne Drive near El Camino Real just before 10 p.m.

The armed robbers briefly grabbed the girl's mother. That's when the girl's father got involved and the entire family ended up driving the men away.
