SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Salesforce is investing big in San Francisco schools.

Salesforce founder Marc Benioff visited students at Presidio Middle School and said he is donating $6 million to the San Francisco Unified School District.

The money is to expand computer science instruction in San Francisco middle schools.

The donation also comes with a pledge from Salesforce employees to volunteer 10,000 hours during the school year.

"We ask all of our employees to do more than six days a year of volunteerism. We pay for that actually," Benioff said.

During the past three years, Salesforce has donated $14 million to San Francisco schools.
