OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- There's a new arrival at the Oakland Zoo. Mimi, a baby baboon, was born at the zoo last week.

When zookeepers arrived at work last Wednesday morning, they found the baby nursing.

Mimi went on display to the public Thursday.

She's the third baby baboon born at the Oakland Zoo in the last year and a half. Her older siblings, Kodee and Mocha, are already helping their parents take care of her.

"Mimi" is Swahili for "I am."
