HOUSTON (KGO) -- A teenager who claimed she was sexually assaulted by her manager won a multi-million dollar lawsuit from Chipotle.

The 16-year-old victim started working at one of the company's restaurants in Houston in 2013. Soon after, the victim says 26-year-old assistant manager Gerardo Solis was regularly touching her inappropriately and grooming her for sex.

It took the jury only three hours on Monday to award the young woman $7.65 million in damages, and Chipotle must foot the bill since the company was found liable.

In a statement, Chipotle said, "We care deeply about all of our employees. We continue to offer our support for this former employee and hope for her well-being."

Meanwhile, Solis is believed to have fled to Mexico to avoid criminal prosecution.
