CHP reporting fatal collision involving pedestrian on I-580 in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. -- The California Highway Patrol Friday morning is reporting a fatal collision involving a pedestrian on eastbound Interstate Highway 580 in Oakland.

The collision occurred at the Keller Avenue off-ramp, according to the CHP.

A Sig-alert was issued do to the collision at 2:11 a.m., but all lanes have since been reopened.

The collision was first reported at 1:23 a.m.
