Concord PD investigating alleged drive-by shooting, no injuries reported

CONCORD, Calif. -- Police are investigating an alleged drive-by shooting that occurred late Sunday morning in Concord.

Around 11:15 a.m., police responded to a report of shots fired from a vehicle near Clayton and Coventry roads, according to police Cpl. Christopher Blakely.

Officers were unable to locate any victims and do not know exactly how many shots were fired, Blakely said.

The suspect was seen fleeing in a white compact, four-door car, according to Blakely.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
