GILROY, Calif. -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify a group of people who allegedly broke into a Gilroy high school earlier this week and vandalized it.

Early Monday morning, a group of at least five suspects climbed a fence at Christopher High School, located at 850 Day Road, according to police.

Once on school grounds, the group severely damaged school property, including golf carts, exterior walls and water piping, police said.

Images of the suspects were caught on surveillance video.

Police believe the suspects do not attend Christopher High School, but instead may be high school students from San Jose.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gilroy police at (408) 846-0347.
