SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (KGO) -- A bear in Tahoe nursed back from injury this spring is moving to a sanctuary because he couldn't readjust to living in the wild.

Heavenly the bear was found injured at Heavenly Mountain Resort in March. A wildlife organization helped him recover and released him this May.

However, Heavenly the bear started approaching people begging for food, likely because he was fed as a cub.

Instead of euthanizing him, the wildlife group took him back in until they found a new home.

Heavenly will be relocated to a sanctuary in Arizona where he'll be able to beat the heat with his own swimming pool.
