Know and Tell: Volunteers receive award for saving baby's life in Syria
Volunteer teams called The White Helmets are getting an award for saving a newborn from the rubble of a building hit by a bomb in Syria back in 2014.

NEW YORK (KGO) -- Syrian rescue teams who volunteer called The White Helmets are getting an award for a video called The Heroes and the Miracle Baby.

In the video, you see the volunteers rescuing a newborn in 2014 who was trapped under three stories after bomb hit a building in Syria.

Volunteers said the baby was "stronger than barrel bombs, stronger than collapsed ceilings and stronger than everything."
