SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KGO) -- A chase in Sacramento shut down traffic on a busy highway Tuesday. But this wasn't the usual high-speed chase. It was on foot and on paws.
A dog got onto Highway 50 Tuesday afternoon.
To make sure it didn't get hit, authorities shut down all lanes of traffic.
CHP officers, deputies, even drivers tried to catch the speedy little guy. But the pup was too elusive.
Witnesses watched as it ran off the highway, through a parking lot, and off into the distance.
