Memorial run held for Marine killed by alleged DUI driver

FREMONT, Calif. (KGO) -- A memorial run was held in Fremont Saturday near where a Union City Marine died.

Twenty-three-year-old Lance Corporal Andrew Silva was hit and killed last Tuesday morning while on his motorcycle.

A memorial was created where he was struck.

Saturday, friends and family ran in honor of Silva's memory and to raise money for his 2-year-old son Noah.

Twenty-three-year-old Alexander Yohn of Emeryville has been charged with murder in the case.
