OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- New video has emerged showing what led up to a disturbing confrontation between an Oakland High School student and a campus security guard.

We now know 17-year-old Francisco Martinez was attacked twice by the guard, Marchell Mitchell.

The new clip shows the first incident where the guard tilts Martinez out of his wheelchair and kicks him in the head.

Later, Mitchell attacks the teen again in the hallway. Video of that part of the attack was released last week.

Martinez admits he spit in the guard's face at some point, but the school and the police say that doesn't excuse Mitchell's actions.

Mitchell was fired and has been charged with felony corporal injury to a child.

Martinez's family plans to file a lawsuit against the district.
