Pedestrian struck, killed by car in San Francisco's Castro District

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A car struck and killed a pedestrian in San Francisco's Castro District Saturday night, according to San Francisco police.

Police say the accident occurred at 7:48 p.m. at Market and Delores streets as a pedestrian walked outside of the crosswalk. The victim was struck by a car and died at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation. No other information was immediately available.
