Police involved in standoff situation at West Oakland home

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Police are involved in a standoff situation at a home in West Oakland Sunday morning.

Around 1 a.m., police responded to the residence, located in the 900 block of Center Street, after one or more suspects barricaded themselves inside, according to police.

Some residents inside the home have been evacuated, police said.
