Police looking for gunman in deadly shooting in East San Jose

SAN JOSE -- The San Jose Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred late Monday night.

Officers responded to the 2700 block of Sand Point Drive at 10:52 p.m. on report of shots fired.

On scene they found a male victim in the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to police.

Information about the suspect and motive were not immediately available.
