Apple security spotted three people stealing from one of their buildings on Bubb Road in Cupertino at about 4:20 Wednesday morning. A sheriff's deputy started following the suspect's BMW on Highway 85 into the Cambrian neighborhood in San Jose, where the car chase came to an end and the foot chase began.

Deputies assisted by San Jose police set up a large perimeter in the neighborhood around Camden Avenue and Leigh Avenue. They were going door to door looking for the suspects.
"The second deputy on the scene was actually able to see the suspects flee on foot. So we able to see which directions the suspects were going," said James Jensen, Santa Clara County sheriff's office.
Early on, they were able to spot the driver of the BMW.
"He was caught in the Starbucks," said Jensen.
A Starbucks employee said the man ran inside and tried to get in the bathroom, but didn't have the code. Law enforcement arrested him shortly after.
"I saw all the police and the ambulance were all around here. And they were loading a guy into the ambulance and he looked a little 'roughed up,'" said Kelli Rivers, witness.
The search for the other two suspects was called off at about 8 a.m. Investigators recovered some stolen laptops from the suspect's car. Apple had no comment on the situation.
