ANTIOCH, Calif. (KGO) -- A federal appeals court ruled Friday Jaycee Dugard, who was kidnapped by a parolee, cannot hold federal parole officials liable for failing to supervise her abductor.
Dugard was kidnapped at age 11 while walking to her school bus stop in South Lake Tahoe.
She was held captive in Antioch for 18 years.
Friday's ruling comes seven years to the day since she was rescued.
Dugard received a $20 million settlement from the state and had sued the federal government for similar compensation.
