Salinas police release store robbery video
After a brutal murder during a convenience store robbery, Salinas police released the surveillance video in hopes someone can identify the suspects.

SALINAS, Calif. (KGO) -- Police in Salinas are releasing surveillance video in the hopes someone will help them solve what officers are calling one of the most brutal murders they've ever seen.

ABC7 News has chosen not to show the worst of the video.

Police say two men tried to rob a convenience store on Friday night.

One of the suspects got angry and shot a 62-year-old woman. The same man then shot the clerk and another woman, before both suspects beat the victims with their guns.

The first woman was killed and the second is in critical condition. The store clerk is recovering from his injuries.

Police are asking witnesses or anyone who may recognize the suspects to come forward.
