SFPD responds to barricaded suspect in Tenderloin District
San Francisco police arrested a barricaded suspect who discharged a round Saturday morning.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco police detained a woman who barricaded herself in a building and discharged a round Saturday morning.

Officer Grace Gatpandan tweeted around 10:42 a.m. that officers were handling a critical incident with a barricaded suspect on the 200 block of Turk Street after the shot was fired.

The area was closed off to pedestrians and street traffic while officers investigated the incident. The female suspect was taken into custody.
