Female student reports rape by masked man in Santa Rosa

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KGO) -- A student at Santa Rosa Junior College says she was raped on campus by a masked man.

Investigators tell the college newspaper The Oak Leaf, it happened in the women's restroom of Barnett Hall around 9:00 last Thursday night.

The victim says a man wearing a black beanie mask confronted her, forced her against a wall and assaulted her. The attacker is described as a white man, stocky build around 5'10."

Campus police are now beefing up night patrol.
