At least 1 dead in Union City triple shooting, 3 suspects in custody
Police responded to reports of a shooting near a Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Union City just after 9:00 p.m. on Monday night.

UNION CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- Police responded to the scene of a shooting at the parking lot between a movie theater and a Texas Roadhouse Restaurant.

Officers have cordoned off the area and are now processing the scene.

Union City Police say in all, three people were shot and at least one of them is dead.

A black Lexus SUV was shot at, windows shattered, a body inside.

Police say another victim took off after being shot, but was later found at the 880 Alvarado Niles on-ramp.

As for the gunmen, police have three suspects in custody.

Officers were already in the area and were able to find the suspects quickly.

"Thee suspect vehicle that was stopped had at least three occupants," Said Lt. Jeff Snell. "At this point we're not looking for any additional suspect vehicles or weapons. And at this point there is no ongoing threat to the public."

Many people were at the Union Landing Shopping Center at the time of the shooting, either dining or going to and from the theater, but no innocent bystanders were hurt.
